On Wednesday, July 3rd, around 10:51 p.m., Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Girard Avenue for a report of a fight, which was later amended to a stabbing. When Officers arrived, they located two victims, a male and a female, suffering from apparent stab wounds. Both of these victims were found outside. A third victim, a male, was discovered suffering from apparent stab wounds inside of a residence.
All three victims were transported to Upstate University Hospital, where they are all listed in stable condition.
The investigation into the incident determined that one of the male victims who was stabbed initiated the incident. That man, 35-year-old Alfred Clanton III, was subsequently charged with Assault in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree in relation to this incident.
