Syracuse Police Release Timeline for Felecia I. Davis Homicide Investigation

On October 25th Syracuse Police respond to a call of a woman found unresponsive in a driveway on First North Street. Since then, Police have identified a suspect as Maurice L. Delee. The following is a timeline for the investigation of the homicide of Felecia I. Davis, 29 of Syracuse.

October 25, 2023, at 1:55 PM:  Syracuse Police Officers responded to 1511 First North St. for reports of a female laying in the driveway, not conscious and not breathing. Syracuse Police, Syracuse Fire, and AMR paramedics arrived and located the victim, Felecia I. Davis age 29, deceased from apparent stabbing injuries.   

October 25, 2023 – Present:  An investigation was commenced by CID Homicide Unit Detectives, where numerous people were interviewed, and an extensive neighborhood and citywide canvass was conducted. In addition, several search warrants were executed, and evidence was recovered, processed, and thoroughly analyzed.

As a result of the above efforts, a suspect was identified as Maurice L. Delee, 46.

October 25, 2023, at 8:00 PM: Delee was located by Syracuse Police Department Homicide Detectives at Upstate Hospital. Delee was subsequently transported to the Public Safety building, placed under arrest, and lodged at the Onondaga County Justice Center.

In regards to this investigation, Maurice L. Delee was charged with the following crimes:  Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree This investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with any information.
