Syracuse, N.Y. – On Monday November 26th, 2018 at approximately 2:03 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the area of Midland Avenue and W. Glen Avenue regarding a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located several shell casing in the 3600 block of Midland Avenue.
A short time later, Officers were notified that a male had arrived at Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Officers responded to the hospital and met with a 27 year old male, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left chest area. His injury does not appear to be life threatening at this time.
The victim provided varying accounts of where the incident occurred, and stated that he did not see who shot at him. There is no suspect information at this time.
