On Saturday, December 18th, 2021, at the Walmart Supercenter located at 6438 Basile Rowe, East Syracuse, young children will get the chance to shop with Syracuse Police Officers. Each child will receive a gift card from donations raised through various agencies to buy holiday gifts for themselves and their families. This is the 8th year the Syracuse Police Department has participated in this heart-warming event.
Registration begins at 9:15 A.M., and at 10:00 A.M., 20 children who were nominated will get to shop at Walmart Supercenter with their own Officer. All of the children selected are from within the City of Syracuse and have been victims or witnesses to criminal activities, fires, accidents, medical emergencies, or other unfortunate circumstances.
