On Sunday, June 25th at 9:48 a.m. Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 600 block of Hixson Avenue for a reported shooting. Upon arrival officers located a male victim with one gun shot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital with non life threatening injuries, and he is expected to survive. Anybody with any information related to the shooting should contact the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
