On Sunday, the 17th day of September 2023 at around 5:34 p.m. officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to the 200 block of Westmoreland Avenue for a reported shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, the officers located a 25-year-old male shooting victim in the courtyard between 201 and 203 Westmoreland Avenue. The victim was learned to have suffered one gunshot wound to his left arm. The victim was transported to University Hospital by ambulance, where he was treated for his injuries. The victims’ injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
