In the wake of a dishonest advertisement that John Katko has refused to pull, angry voters will be protesting his fundraising with House Speaker Paul Ryan today.
Paul Ryan helped to orchestrate a tax bill that cut $1.5 trillion in revenue (an average of $3.5 billion per Congressional District) and gave tax breaks primarily to wealthiest Americans and Big Businesses. It has now put our Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare and other essential services in jeopardy.
Katko was one of only four out of nine NY Republican Congresspeople who voted in favor of the bill because of it’s particularly harmful impacts on New Yorkers.
