President of NYS Federation of Democratic Women Endorses NYS Senator John Mannion for Congress in NY-22

Syracuse, NYToday, Denise Murphy McGraw, President of the New York State Federation of Democratic Women, announced her personal endorsement of John Mannion for Congress in the NY-22 district. With over 25 years of distinguished professional experience, McGraw is widely recognized for her exceptional leadership in developing financial, operational, public policy, and community impact strategies for various national and regional entities. 

“John Mannion has always been someone we can count on to get things done for women, children and families,” said NYS Federation of Democratic Women President McGraw. “His legislative record on behalf of women’s reproductive freedoms, maternal mental health, equal rights, and pay transparency issues is second to none. The Democratic Primary is scheduled for June 25th, where the winner will advance to face Rep. Brandon Williams R-Sennett in the November general election. John Mannion, a lifelong Central New Yorker and grandson of Irish immigrants, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his candidacy. With nearly three decades of teaching experience in the public school system, Mannion has consistently advocated for students and educators alike.

As a State Senator since 2020, Mannion has made significant contributions to Central New York, including achievements such as the passage of the Green CHIPS legislation that attracted substantial investment to the region, middle-class tax cuts, property tax relief, and initiatives to protect healthcare rights and the environment.
