On February 20th at approximately 7:45 am, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Warrant Investigation Unit detectives and Regional Fugitive Task Force Task Officers responded to 100 Ivy Ridge Rd. Apt. 32 City of Syracuse to attempt to locate Julian Muolo for a county warrant for felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd charges.
Sheriff Detectives were allowed inside to search for Muolo. His 1.5-year-old daughter was in his bedroom. Detectives observed a 9mm ghost gun in plain view on the bedroom floor on top of the child’s iPad and alleged fentanyl in plain view on the floor. Detectives found Muolo hiding in the bedroom closet, where a ghost AR15 was in plain view. Muolo and his girlfriend were placed in custody, and Special Investigation Unit and Major Crime Unit detectives responded to assist.
A Search Warrant was executed with the following results: 1 ghost AR15 rifle, 2- 9mm ghost handguns, 1- Glock 43 9mm handgun, 3- 30 round high capacity 9mm magazines, one sawed off .22cal rifle, appx 3.5 kilograms of dimethypentylone (aka molly), 7,327 bags of fentanyl, 3gm cocaine, an amount of morphine, suboxone, alprazolam, methadone, and over $65,000 US currency.
Julian Muolo, 28, and Shianna Washington, 28, were arraigned on the following: Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (11cts), Criminal Possession of a Firearm (5cts), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (5cts), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (2cts). Both are currently lodged at the Justice Center without bail.
- Muolo is also a parolee on a NJ robbery.
- Child Protective Services was advised and placed the child with its grandmother.
