May 4th is #NationalDayofPrayer, members of the community gathered around the Onondaga County Courthouse steps to bow heads as one in faith. Elected officials & community faith leaders led all in song, prayer for the nation, churches, governments, revival & the people of CNY.
Mayor Walsh opened the program alongside colleagues in City Government Pastor Sharon Owens, who also serves as the City of Syracuse’s Deputy Mayor, and Pastor Lateef-Johnson Kinsey, who also serves as the City’s Director of the Mayor’s Office to Reduce Gun Violence.
