Syracuse, NY– As many summer camps for children close enrollment due to filled capacity throughout the region, Kool Kidz Daycare Center announces open enrollment for its new Summer Camp. The daycare that opened its doors in August 2022 to address the childcare shortage in Syracuse, is now including an option to help parents seeking childcare during the summer months.
“This is why Kool Kidz Daycare exists,” said Kool Kidz Daycare Center Owner Joshua Olatunde. “We see the challenges hard-working parents face with finding safe and affordable childcare, and we exceed those needs.”
Summer Programs
Starting Monday, June 26th Kool Kidz Summer Camp will offer recreational and educational experiences for children ages 3-12, from 9am – 5pm. Weekly field trips will be made to Green Lakes State Park, Clark Reservation State Park, and the Museum of Science & Technology (The MOST). Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will also be included. As the summer program continues to be developed, Olatunde shared that the summer camp is planning to partner with a local martial arts team, dance/yoga instructor, the Syracuse Police Department, and more.
“We’re located on the Southside, but we also accept children from all parts of the City of Syracuse. We are dedicated to the care, learning, and growth of toddlers and school-aged children, and excited to expand our offerings with our summer camp.”
Olatunde, a former teacher and corporate executive, is also a YouTube star. He recently announced a new and fun series of YouTube videos for young children made to inspire a passion for reading. The video series, Story Time with Mr. Josh, Mr. Josh’s Kool School was created for children from 0-6 years old.
The Kool Kidz Summer Camp program will open from June 26th, 2023 to September 1st, 2023.
