Too often, health care is one size fits all. But this week, the All of Us Bus tour is coming to the Syracuse area this week to help change that. During any of the four days, stop by the Camillus Town Hall for an event sponsored by the Fairmount Community Library.
The concept is simple: Visit the All of Us bus to provide a biosample (blood or saliva) and you can learn more about things like your risk for certain hereditary diseases, your body’s reaction to certain medicines and even about your genetic ancestry. There is no cost and you can find out about the research your DNA can help provide going forward.
The All of Us Bus Tour comes to town for 4 days
Camillus Town Hall 4600 West Genesee Street
May 28th-May 31st from 10AM-4PM each day
And it’s not just the bus rolling into town. On Tuesday the 28th the Big Awesome BBQ truck will provide free food for participants from 10am-4pm. And throughout the week, Fairmount Community Library will have music, games and family activities each day. This entire event will take place on the grounds of the Camillus Town Hall.
