Skating Will Be Free At the Clinton Square Rink on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. From January Through March
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The City of Syracuse Department of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs announced today that free skating nights will return to Clinton Square beginning January 3, 2017 through the end of the season, thanks to sponsorship from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.
“We are pleased to once again return this fun, healthy opportunity to the Clinton Square Ice Rink on Wednesday nights thanks to the generous support of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield,” said Lazarus Sims, Commissioner of Parks, Recreation, and Youth Programs. “Ice skating is a great activity for families to enjoy and I welcome everyone from around Central New York to Clinton Square on Wednesday nights.”

Free skating will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights from January 3, 2017 through mid-March, when the skating season ends. Skate rental rates still apply.
