Joint Finance, Taxation & Assessment and Neighborhood Preservation (Homeless & Housing Vulnerable) Committee Meeting on 01.04.24 re A New procedure for the seizure and sale of tax delinquent property

There will be a joint meeting of the Finance, Taxation, & Assessment and Neighborhood Preservation (Homeless and Housing Vulnerable) Committees on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Van B. Robinson Common Council Chambers, third floor, City Hall.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Local Law amendments to the City Tax and Assessment Act and a Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) with the Greater Syracuse Land Bank “Land Bank” as it relates to establishing a new procedure for the seizure and sale of tax delinquent property to the Land Bank.
