Caleb Slater officially launches his 2024 campaign for New York State Senate

Caleb Slater for State Senate

Syracuse, NY – On January 18th Caleb Slater, the Conservative Republican frontrunner for New York State Senate District 48 officially launched his campaign before the press after a year of work on the ground. Slater shared the following statement: “Over the past year I took the time to meet with voters and leaders in every municipality across New York State Senate District 48. Residents continue to bring up the same concerns – their life is threatened by the attacks on public safety, their liberty is threatened by an overreaching Albany and their ability to pursue happiness is threatened by a State government that taxes too much and over regulates the little guy who wants to start his or her own business.

New York used to be known as the Empire State where people would come from all over the country and all over the world seeking the American Dream. Now we are synonymous with the American Nightmare, where people are fleeing in record numbers. New York State is dying. We need to turn this ship around before it’s too late. I’m running for the New York State Senate because the people of our region feel like they don’t have a voice and hope is lost. I’ve seen first-hand the policies that work in areas like Tennessee and Florida through my experience in the real estate industry. Our State has all the wrong priorities.

Syracuse is #2 in the nation for childhood poverty and a top 20 community for homelessness. Instead of investing in our own issues, leaders of the past and present are more focused on being a Sanctuary City. We do not have the resources to address all of the world’s problems and must put Americans first. I’m proud to be born in the USA, as a lifelong New Yorker I want to address our issues instead of moving to another State, like so many others have done. We have to clean up crime and create a pathway for our state to economically thrive once again.”
