Stabbing Victim Walk-In at Upstate

On Friday, August 23rd 2024 at approximately 11:27 p.m., Officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to 750 East Adams Street, University Hospital, for a report of a stabbing victim, who arrived at the emergency room by a private vehicle.  Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male victim who presented with an apparent stab wound to his chest. Shots Fired Candlelight Lane Town of Clay

On August 21st, around 3 pm, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office was called to Candlelight Lane Apartments for a shots fired call.  When deputies arrived, they recovered shell casings from the ground and received suspect information.  No one was injured, and the Sheriff’s S.W.A.T Unit cleared the apartment building, looking for any victims and the suspect.  Another Sheriff deputy located the suspect and apprehended them without incident.  The public is not in danger, and the suspect is in
