“On the Road to 50” The National Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA)

The National GMWA will be 50 years old in 2017.  It was founded by the late renowned artist, Rev. Motown Revisited – June is Proclaimed as National Music Month

Let us celebrate National Music month by revisiting our music heritage contributors and keeping the history alive.  I recently revisited Motown in Detroit, Michigan, while going there to attend a funeral of a relative. I did not hesitate going by the historic Motown site. Therefore, I went to visit the historical Motown USA (Hitsville) Museum.
