At approximately 2:37 p.m. on August 14th, there were shots fired on the northside of the city. One of our buses was inadvertently hit by a bullet. The bullet hit the radiator that disabled the bus. There were four students on the bus, and no one was injured.
Parents of the students on the bus were notified and the students were safely transported home.
The safety and well-being of our children is of the utmost importance to us. We have counselors and social workers available to any student who may need additional support.
