The Back-to-School Safety Bash Will Be Held in the Canyon at Destiny USA on Friday, August 16th from 12PM – 2PM
Syracuse, NY (August 13, 2024) – In partnership with the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board, Destiny USA is hosting the Back-To-School Safety Bash, a free, family-friendly event on August 16th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Canyon. The event will feature “touch a truck” with several different law enforcement vehicles, interactive displays, demonstrations, K9s, and educational activities. Local law enforcement and safety agencies will be on hand to promote traffic safety awareness and provide valuable education on staying safe in our community. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to learn about the heroes who work every day to keep them safe.

Representatives from participating organizations include the Cicero Police Department, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Syracuse Police, AAA, the NYS Governor’s Traffic Safety Council, NAVAC Ambulance, and the NYS Police.
