On Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at approximately 9:47 p.m., uniformed officers with the Syracuse Police Department responded to University Hospital at 750 East Adams Street for a report of a male who arrived with an apparent gunshot wound to his left hand. Upon arrival, officers located the 17-year-old victim in the emergency room. The victim had injuries that were consistent with being struck by gunfire. The victims’ injuries are not life threatening. The incident location was reported to be in the 200 block of Sabine Street.
