NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a series of Public Hearings on Monday, June 5, 2023, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, Syracuse, New York to consider in full, or in part, the following applications. Please note this is not necessarily the order in which they will be heard.

  1. Application CA-23-01A, continuation of a Public Hearing to appeal a decision by the Syracuse Landmark Preservation Board denying a Certificate of Appropriateness to replace 140 windows and an entrance door on property situated at 350 Montgomery Street, owned by Shalimar Properties 407, LLC, zoned Central Business District-Office and Service District, pursuant to Part C, Section VII, Article 6 of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.

  • Application SR-12-16M1, to modify an existing roof-top antenna array on property situated at 918 (aka 920) Euclid Avenue, owned by Church-Erwin First Methodist, zoned Residential, Class A and Residential, Class AA, pursuant to Part C, Section I, Article 7 of the City of Syracuse Zoning Rules and Regulations, as amended.
  • Application R-23-07, for a Resubdivision to combine two properties situated at 471-481 and 493 Oswego Boulevard, owned by One Webster Landing, LLC, zoned Residential, Class AA, into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision regulations.
  • Application R-23-17, for a Resubdivision to combine two properties situated at 1152 and 1154 Grant Boulevard, owned by Samantha and James Connors, zoned Residential, Class A, into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision regulations.
  • Application R-23-18, for a Resubdivision to combine two properties situated at 930 and 940 James Street, owned by George and Rebecca Barnes Foundation, zoned Office, Class A, into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.
  • Application R-23-23, for a Resubdivision to divide two properties situated at 325 West Jefferson Street and 102 Dickerson Street, owned by County of Onondaga, zoned Central Business District-General Service A, into three new Lots pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.
  • Application R-23-24, for a Resubdivision to combine three properties situated at 213 and 215 Merriman Avenue and 101 Sabine Street, owned by the Greater Syracuse Property Development Corporation, zoned Residential, Class AA, into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.
  • Application R-23-25, for a Resubdivision to combine two properties situated at 109 and 111 May Avenue, owned by the Greater Syracuse Property Development Corporation, zoned Residential, Class A-1 into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.
  1. Application R-23-26, for a Resubdivision to combine five properties situated at 1548, 1600-1602, 1606, 1608-1610, and 1614-1616 South State Street, owned by the Greater Syracuse Property Development Corporation, zoned residential, Class AA, into four new Lots pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.
  1. Application R-23-29, for a Resubdivision to combine two properties situated at 712 and 714 Rugby Road, owned by Peter Papayanakos and Nicole Petrone, zoned Residential, Class A-1, into one new Lot pursuant to the City of Syracuse Subdivision Regulations.

The above proposals are open for inspection at the Office of Zoning Administration, or on-line at https://www.syr.gov/Boards-and-Commissions/CPC/CPC-Meetings. Persons wishing to comment on an application may do so in person or by attorney at the public hearing.
