The Onondaga County Department of Transportation will conduct a replacement of the bridge on Pompey Hollow Road over Limestone Creek in the Town of Pompey. The bridge is located on Pompey Hollow Road between Delphi Falls Road and Tracy Road.
Contract forces will be setting up a work zone beginning Monday, August 8, 2022. An offsite detour route will be utilized. Motorists are asked to follow the marked detour during the closure.
As with any highway project, the Onondaga County Department of Transportation encourages motorists to plan ahead for potential delays and to consider alternate routes, if possible. We respectfully remind the public to obey the reduced speed limit through the work zone, use caution, and be mindful of construction workers and equipment.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of the 2022 construction season.
