FOR CHILDREN &TEENS:

Are you a Smart Cookie? Prove it!

Beauchamp Branch Smart Cookies are kids who use the library! They check out books, get homework help from tutors in the library, and they talk to librarians about books they like to read. On December Holiday break, smart cookies will get to attend a special Cooking Up Literacy where they will make… cookies!

Beginning on September 1, every day that kids 12 and under check out a children’s book at Beauchamp, they earn 1 cookie point towards the Smart Cookie Cooking Up Literacy. Kids can earn additional points by attending Beauchamp Branch library programs, getting homework help in the library, and talking to a librarian about a book they read that week. Once they have earned 30 cookie points (don’t worry, the library will keep track for you!), they will be able to register for the Smart Cookie Cooking Up Literacy!
