Shooting With Injuries on Croton Terrace
On Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at around 7:27 P.M., Officers responded to the 100 block of Croton Terrace for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, Officers located a 37-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg and a 45-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Both victims were transported to Upstate Hospital and are expected to survive. An examination of the scene revealed evidence of shots fired, and several casings were located. A residence in the 400 block of Oakwood Avenue was also found to have been struck by gunfire. As the investigation progressed, information was developed that the suspect(s) in this case entered 1309 S. State Street after the shooting. Officers quickly surrounded the house, and several people of interest were eventually detained. At this point, no arrests have been made. The investigation is active and ongoing.
