Syracuse City School District to Host Charter School Public Hearing

The Syracuse City School District will hold a Public Hearing on May 15th regarding the OnTECH Charter School. The school is proposing to revise their Brain-Based Learning key design element by modifying the start of the school day from 10:00 am to “later than 8:30 am.” They are also looking to decrease authorized student enrollment from 360 to 300 students. The charter school welcomes any comments Syracuse City School District residents wish to provide. The public hearing will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4:30 – 5:30 pm in the Central Office Board Room (725 Harrison Street). Media are welcome to attend.
